The Apple Pencil makes drawing on an iPad Pro incredibly precise.. Apple's iPad Pro setup versus the Cintiq is to run far, far away from Wacom's device.
Now I'll get an iPad Pro & Pencil instead of Cintiq.. move around, and really get into the details of the image in Photoshop or Illustrator is just a huge bonus.
I have this similiar question, before i went into iPad pro. And after 2 years using iPad pro, i still love it, but also thinking that i need cintiq *sometimes* LOL First .
